Join a Family, Not a Company: The True Corp Careers Film

Central Florida · Careers

Issac opens the film as co-owner with the pitch in one sentence: "we treat it like a family, but you get all the benefits of a corporation." Then Mark walks through what the name on every shirt stands for - TRUE: Thankful, an attitude for winning; Reliable, trustworthy in the small things and the big things; United, joined together for a common purpose; and Excellence, because as he puts it, "excellence just means outstanding quality" in everything from the truck you work in to the attitude you bring.

The rest is team members telling their own stories, chaptered right on the video: a first employee who built a division, a rebuild manager whose two and a half years changed her career, and crew members who came for a job and stayed for the development. Their common advice for new hires: work hard, stay flexible, and be ready for opportunity.

Why a contractor's core values reach your backyard

Core values on a wall mean nothing; core values in a hiring process mean everything, because they decide who is standing on your deck. A company that screens for reliability sends crews that show up when the schedule says. One that preaches excellence at the truck-and-tools level builds cages with straight screen lines and clean fastener rows where nobody would have noticed a shortcut. The film's TRUE acronym is recruiting language, but the mechanism is real: the culture a contractor builds internally is the quality control you never see.

What crew culture predicts about your project

  • Low turnover keeps experienced hands on your job - tenure is where craft and judgment come from
  • Crews that like each other coordinate cleanly on multi-day builds instead of working in silos
  • People treated well have a reason to care whether you are happy at the final walkthrough
  • Companies that promote from within (helper to lead to manager) keep their best knowledge in the building

FAQ

Common questions

The answers Central Florida homeowners ask us most often.

What happens when I call True Aluminum?
You talk to a real Central Florida team member, Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM. We set up an on-site inspection, look at your space, talk through options and materials, and follow up with a clear written quote. No pressure and no surprises: you decide from the quote.
How does your pricing work?
Everything is priced up front from the written quote. You approve the price before any work starts, and the crew builds exactly what was quoted. If anything changes along the way, we walk you through it and get your approval first.
How fast can you get here?
Our crews work out of Lakeland and Plant City, so we cover all of Central Florida quickly. Most inspections are scheduled within days of your call, and after storms we prioritize damaged screens and structures.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Lakeland, Plant City, Winter Haven, Bartow, Brandon, Davenport, Mulberry, New Tampa, Valrico, Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, Auburndale, and the surrounding Central Florida communities across Polk, eastern Hillsborough, and Pasco counties.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We partner with Wisetack for financing on approved credit, with 0% APR available up to 24 months for eligible customers and financing up to $25,000. Prequalifying takes about a minute and does not impact your credit score.
What services does True Aluminum provide?
We design, build, and repair aluminum outdoor structures across Central Florida: screen rooms and lanais, pool cages and enclosures, sunrooms, screen replacements and rescreens, patio and deck enclosures, carports, aluminum rails and fencing, storm shutters, seamless gutter installation, and paver installation.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. True Aluminum is fully licensed and insured, holding Florida aluminum specialty structure license SCC131151391. Every build is engineered and permitted to Florida code.
Do you handle storm damage rescreens?
Yes. Torn screens, bent framing, and wind-damaged enclosures are some of our most common calls after Central Florida storms. We inspect the structure, tell you honestly whether a rescreen or a repair is the right fix, and quote it up front.
